When I look back on my life so far, I realise that I’ve always been a little geeky.

As soon as my parents bought me my first computer, I didn’t want my experience to end with just being a user. I wanted to go one step further and discover what was behind the technology. It was much like a childhood story your grandfather may have told you. You know it: the one where he was so enchanted with the old clock that he had to disassemble it and see the mechanism that made it all work.

My fascination with computers reached its peak when I was in school in Chisinau, the capital of Moldova. By that time, I knew a lot about coding, as well as about how computers and other gadgets work. Fuelled by my desire to be more involved in the science behind the computer screen, I instantly knew what my next step would be – becoming a programmer.

For the past few years, I’ve been working full-time as a programmer. I started as part of a larger software company and then gradually moved on to becoming a freelancer. I love what I do and how it keeps changing my life for the better. Now, I’m eager to share my knowledge and experiences with others.

How Technology Enriched My Life

I’m a firm believer in the positive power of technology. It makes everyday tasks easy and simple. It enables us to stay connected in spite of distance. It helps us become better versions of ourselves. I love spending time with my girlfriend and my friends, but when we’re unable to be together for a number of reasons, it is technology that allows us to keep in touch.

In addition to programming, travelling is my other great passion. My work as a programmer has provided me with many opportunities to visit different parts of the world. I have been to places I never dreamed I could go to, both for business and for pleasure, and it’s all thanks to my passion. I met a lot of wonderful people during these journeys and I’m happy to say it was technology that made it easier for us to stay in touch over the years. I have friends in every corner of the world and that’s just one of the perks of being a programmer and working in the tech industry.

What Wired.md Is All About

While sharing useful titbits of information and knowledge on social media does have its upsides, there is little room for structure there. That’s where Wired.md comes in. I want to collect my knowledge and experiences, as well as interesting news and information in a neat way, so that every item is easy to find.

Here I will write about technology, travelling, and anything else that appeals to me. This is also a place where we can exchange our ideas and help each other become better at what we do. And though I envision it as a personal notebook of sorts, with my varied interests and guest contributions, this website will provide useful insight to anyone interested in computers, gadgets, and all other topics I regularly cover.
